Showcasing Shell’s new vehicle to grid technology in a way kids can understand.

Vehicle to Grid technology is a brand new development from Shell which is improving the electrical charging infrastructure. It creates charging stations to charge cars, but also utilises excess energy stored in car batteries to charge the grid when there is a spike in demand.
Quite a tricky thing to get your head around. To make it simple and fun we gave kids hands on control of a virtual city using Leap Motion - with various movements affecting the city’s power needs to show how it all works.
